Busy Bees Preschool
Busy Bees Preschool is part of our school. Children are admitted the term after they turn 3 years old. Where there are vacancies the parents can choose which days they wish their child to attend. The children are entitled to 15 hours free education but can attend for more or less hours. For families where both parents are working, funding is available for children for up to 30 hours. Parents need to apply for this via the gov.uk website. Invoices for any additional hours will be raised in the first week of each half term via parentmail. As there are statutory teacher: pupil ratios for particular age groups, we are limited to the number of 3 year old children that we can have in any one session. Therefore, there may be a waiting list to attend Busy Bees.
All Busy Bees children are provided with free milk and fruit each morning.
Attending Busy Bees does not give a pupil automatic admission rights into the school’s Reception year groups. An application through Lincolnshire County Council will still be required. The sessions and costings are as follows from September 2024:
Morning session: 9am-12 noon £15.00
Lunchtime session: 12 noon - 1.00pm £5
Afternoon session: 1.00pm-3.30pm £12.50
Whole day: 9am-3.30pm £32.50
